Attendance is for those staff members who are looking to improve the productivity, leadership qualities and overall knowledge of the retail dealership environment. Classes are available for both the Front End Variable and Back End Fixed Operations Departments.
Class sizes range from 6 to 24 students depending on the topic. Sales classes max out at 24 students, Management classes max out at 14 students and Level 2 classes max out at 12 students.
We strongly recommend that all members of management attend every class in the curriculum. This allows them to know and understand what is being taught, it shows a high level of support for their team and adds to the ongoing continued training back at the Dealership.
A level 1 course trains on the Recognition part of the learning process. Students hear the ideas, accept the concepts and then start the process of determining how they want to implement it into their sales process. Minimal role play and discussion takes place in the level 1 course.
The level 2 course focuses on the Reproduction aspect of the learning process. The student returns to class with some basic understanding of what they learned in the level 1 course and have experimented with ideas and concepts. At the level 2 course, there will be some additional advanced ideas taught, numerous discussions on how to make the concepts better and some aggressive role playing.
Each course is taught by a certified DLA Instructor. Each Trainer has different levels of expertise and is assigned to teach the classes of their specialty. All Trainers come from a retail automotive background, with most having a high level of management experience.
We are constantly adding new courses. As our industry changes, we too need to change. Our goal as your training provider is to stay on top of the newest and greatest ideas and bring them to you at our Training Center.
We have a fully stocked food bar with both breakfast and lunch items.
All day classes run from 9AM to 5PM. The morning, half day classes run from 9AM to 1PM and the afternoon, half day classes run from 1PM to 5PM.
